Country Draw Memory Mode

Five seconds to memorize. Then the map disappears.

Five seconds. That is how long you get to stare at the real outline before it vanishes and your hand has to recreate it. Memory Mode strips Country Draw Game down to its purest form — no vague mental image to lean on, only what you managed to burn in.

What is Country Draw Memory Mode?

Country Draw Memory Mode is the 'true memory' edition of Country Draw Game. Each round starts by showing you the country's real outline for exactly five seconds, counting down on screen. Then the outline disappears and the round plays like Classic: 30 seconds to draw, an overlay reveal, and a 0–100 overlap score across five rounds. The twist is what it trains — Classic tests what you already know, while Memory Mode tests how fast you can imprint a shape you are seeing for the first time. Many players use it as a warm-up before a Classic run.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does Memory Mode work?
Each round opens with the true country outline on screen for 5 seconds with a big countdown. When it hits zero the outline vanishes and you get the standard 30 seconds to draw it from memory, then the usual reveal and score.
Is scoring different in Memory Mode?
No. It uses the exact same overlap (intersection-over-union) scoring as Classic, so your Memory Mode average is directly comparable to your Classic average.
Is Memory Mode easier or harder than Classic?
Different, more than either. The 5-second preview removes the 'do I even know this shape' problem, but keeping a whole coastline in your head for 30 seconds is its own kind of hard — most players score higher on famous countries and crash on unfamiliar ones.
